Absolutely loved the location! You can stroll to some of Madrid's culinary gems like La Finca de Susana just a hop away. The room was upgraded and really surpassed my expectations. The check-in process was smooth as butter!
The service left a bit to be desired, especially with a short reception staff. Plus, the lack of privacy in the bathroom was a bit of a head-scratcher. A towel became my makeshift curtain.

Standard sized rooms, thanks for wonderful stay!!!
Can just recommend for everyone. Marvellous position along with amicable staff are the reasons we loved this lovely hotel. Access to a railroad station, which is close to the property. The property provides a good service. You can use free Wi-Fi throughout the property.

The reception staff were very friendly and spoke good English, made my check-in experience smooth.
We encountered some issues with the lack of power outlets in our room, making it difficult to charge devices.

Excellent city centre position for shops and bars, metro and bus stops very close by, great value for money.

missingWrote a review on 14 Novbroken doorfalse advertising
The hostal was nice, sorta, but the sliding bathroom door was broken, just so inconvenient. Why was there a charge for the shared kitchen? That's false advertising! I woudlve expected a complimentary room upgrade for all that nonsense, but no, just another disappointment. Almost thought about a good review but just couldn't.

there was nothing good about this hostel for me...
This hostel was the worst hostel I have ever stayed. There were no reception, everything and everywhere were dirty. The staff was horrible. Rooms were like a horror movie. I do'nt recommend this hostel to anyone. And also I recommend Booked.net to erase this hostel from its database. I trust them about doing something about this.

Very cheep hotel and ok if you just need a bed. Fan in the room. Nice staff (old, very friendly men)
No space in the room. No chair and table. No charme in the room. Small shower in the corner (absolute no space). Next time I visit Madrid I will offer a little more money for a littel more comfort.

modern amenities, unique cultural experience, notable charm
Oversized shared bathrooms need a deep clean!!! Thin walls lead to excessive noise disturbances!!! Some maintenance issues, like burnt-out light bulbs, really detract from the appeal!!!

The location was great. Very near to the city centre, historical sites and Metro sol. There is a basin inside the room. The wi-fi connection was fast.
The place was pretty run down. The toilet was very small and not very clean. There is only 1 toilet shared by many rooms. The hostel owner cannot speak English.

Great location, but some challenges
The heart of Madrid is just steps away from this hostal. My room was spacious and clean.
There were moments of frustration. I found the noise from neighboring rooms and the street to be disruptive, especially at night. The reception staff could be more cute.
